Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and care
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable nail polish shades and designs that complement each client's style
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products when appropriate
• Ensure all treatments meet industry standards for quality and safety while creating a relaxing atmosphere for clients
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and new product offerings to enhance service quality
• Assist in retail sales by recommending suitable products such as nail care essentials or body waxing items to enhance client satisfaction

Skills
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic application, and nail extensions
• Proficiency in color theory to assist clients in choosing flattering shades and designs
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and overall hygiene practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
• Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nails or esthetics; additional skills like hair styling or eyelash extensions are a plus
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Knowledge of additional beauty services such as body waxing or hair threading enhances versatility in client offerings
