Duties
• Perform a wide range of cosmetology services including hair styling, coloring, cutting, and hair extensions with precision and artistry.
• Deliver advanced treatments such as dermabrasion, dermal fillers, Botox (botulinum toxin), esthetic laser therapy, and body waxing to meet diverse client needs.
• Provide expert makeup application and eyelash extensions to enhance natural beauty for special occasions or everyday wear.
• Conduct nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and nail art to ensure pristine results.
• Manage retail sales through product demos and upselling techniques while educating clients on product benefits aligned with their beauty goals.
• Utilize salon software like Millennium and MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and sales tracking efficiently.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards across all treatments and workstations to ensure client safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Engage actively with clients through social media management to promote services, share transformations, and attract new guests.
• Assist at the front desk by welcoming guests, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Stay current on industry trends such as hair threading, tattooing (if applicable), and med spa treatments to offer innovative solutions.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to understand client needs clearly and provide personalized recommendations.
Qualifications
• Valid cosmetology license in accordance with state requirements.
• Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, cutting, and advanced treatments like Botox or dermal fillers is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY.
• Familiarity with social media management for marketing purposes is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Ability to perform specialized services including eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, nail care, makeup application, and straight razor shaving.
