Manicurist and Nail Technician

This is a commission-based nail technician position.

Responsibilities
• Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and care
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable nail treatments, and communicate aftercare instructions effectively
• Apply advanced techniques such as nail art, color blending, and dermabrasion to create customized designs that meet client expectations
• Educate clients on nail care routines, product usage, and retail options to enhance their overall experience and satisfaction
• Uphold disinfection procedures for all tools and workstations to ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills
• Strong knowledge of color theory, nail art techniques, and the latest trends in nail design
• Proficiency in applying various nail enhancements including acrylics, builder gel, gel x, dipping, and nail extensions
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation practices, disinfection procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
• Effective client communication skills to understand needs and provide personalized recommendations
