Responsibilities
• Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions, and pedicures with precision and care.
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style and preferences.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, equipment, and workstations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience.
• Upsell retail products such as nail care items, skincare products, and other beauty essentials to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, gel techniques, and body waxing treatments to offer innovative services.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment at all times.
Experience
• Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with color theory for creating custom designs and nail art.
• Experience performing pedicures, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair styling, hair extensions, threading, barbering or related beauty services is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients while demonstrating professionalism and confidence.
• Knowledge of retail math for upselling products effectively while maintaining high customer service standards.
