Licensed Cosmetologist

Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various cosmetology services, while also demonstrating excellent customer service skills. This role requires a blend of customer service skills, and building a clientele in an established salon.


Duties



Perform a variety of cosmetology services, including haircuts, coloring, styling, waxing, perms, and many other chemical services.
Client consultations, client communications, retain clientele with strong work ethic.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients warmly and addressing their needs throughout their visit.
Attend classes, continuing education for up to date styles, and trending colors and cuts in which salon will cover expenses.
Promote salon services and products to enhance sales opportunities while providing knowledgeable recommendations to clients.
Stay updated on the latest trends in cosmetology and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements



Valid cosmetology license in accordance with state regulations.
Proven experience in a salon or spa setting is preferred.
Proficiency in multiple techniques and versatility is highly desirable.

Strong sales skills with the ability to promote services effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality.
