We are currently seeking a passionate and polished Shampoo Lounge Specialist to join our growing team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who loves the art of beauty, has hands-on salon experience, and wants to grow into an advanced stylist or spa professional under the mentorship of our master stylist and leadership team.

About the Role

As a Shampoo Lounge Specialist, you are the first impression of luxury for every guest. You will deliver Studio Chique’s signature cleansing rituals, maintain an impeccable environment, and support Designers (Stylists) to ensure a seamless guest flow.

You will work directly with the owner/master stylist and senior team, receiving ongoing training and professional development in both technical skill and luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide luxury shampoo and scalp experiences with attention to relaxation and detail.
• Perform pre- and post-service support including detangling, treatments, and basic styling prep.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Shampoo Lounge at all times.
• Assist stylists with service flow, laundry, inventory, and guest hospitality.
• Execute braid-downs (with and without added hair) and assist in prep for extension services.
• Uphold Studio Chique’s appearance and punctuality standards—always polished, always on time.

Ideal Candidate
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of salon experience required.
• Skills: Must be able to cornrow with and without added hair for certain roles
• Character: Punctual, teachable, dependable, and professional in demeanor.
• Mindset: Eager to grow, humble enough to learn, confident enough to serve with excellence.
• Appearance: All-black, fashion-forward dress code; polished and professional.
• Availability: Immediate openings; weekend and evening flexibility preferred.
