Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nail Technician role based at Allure Day Spa & Hair Design in New York, NY. The Nail Technician is responsible for providing professional manicure and pedicure services, including nail shaping, cuticle care, polish application, and specialty treatments such as gel or acrylic enhancements, while maintaining high hygiene and sanitation standards. Day-to-day tasks include greeting clients, consulting on service options, recommending appropriate nail care products, and ensuring a comfortable, relaxing experience. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to state and spa safety protocols, managing appointment schedules, and collaborating with other spa and salon professionals to support a seamless client journey.

Qualifications
• Current New York State nail specialty license or equivalent required, with strong knowledge of nail care techniques, products, and sanitation practices.
• Proficiency in basic and advanced nail services, such as manicures, pedicures, gel polish,buildergel and nail art, with attention to detail and finish quality.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to consult with clients, understand preferences, and provide professional recommendations.
• Ability to work on-site full or part time, manage appointment schedules, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to health and safety standards, including proper disinfection of tools and adherence to spa policies and state regulations.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative mindset, with willingness to learn new techniques and participate in ongoing training.
• Previous experience in a spa or salon setting is preferred, and familiarity with retail product recommendations and upselling is beneficial.
