Nail Technician

Duties



Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
Provide expert advice on nail care, color theory, and trending styles to meet client preferences
Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
Assist clients with selecting nail colors, designs, and enhancements that complement their personal style
Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing training on new techniques like eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service experiences

Requirements



Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care or related fields
Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and sanitation standards
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional recommendations
Experience with advanced services such as acrylics, gel nails, nail art, or body waxing is preferred
Ability to perform detailed work with steady hands while maintaining a friendly attitude
Knowledge of retail math for effective upselling of products and services
Familiarity with additional beauty services like hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, barbering or esthetic laser treatments is a plus
