Role Description

This is a full-time/part-time on-site Nail Technician position located in Highland Village, Texas.

The Nail Technician will provide professional natural nail services while delivering the elevated, clean, and personalized guest experience that defines Frenchies Modern Nail Care. Services may include manicures, pedicures, gel polish applications, nail shaping, cuticle detailing, hand and foot treatments, soft-gel enhancements, and nail art based on the technician’s training and the studio’s service offerings.

Daily responsibilities include conducting thoughtful guest consultations, understanding each guest’s preferences and nail-care goals, recommending appropriate services and retail products, and providing consistent, high-quality results. Nail Technicians are also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation, properly disinfecting and sterilizing tools, following all Frenchies sanitation protocols, and complying with Texas licensing and safety requirements.

The Nail Technician will work closely with the Studio Manager, Concierge team, and fellow nail professionals to create a positive, team-oriented environment. This position also includes participating in ongoing education, contributing to studio goals, building lasting guest relationships, and helping introduce the Frenchies experience to the Highland Village community.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform high-quality manicures, pedicures, gel polish services, nail treatments, soft-gel enhancements, and nail art.
• Conduct personalized consultations to understand guests’ preferences, lifestyles, and natural nail-care needs.
• Educate guests on proper nail care, service maintenance, and recommended products.
• Deliver warm, attentive, and professional service throughout the entire guest experience.
• Follow all Frenchies cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepared workstation.
• Properly document guest preferences, service details, and relevant nail-care information.
• Support guest retention by building trust, providing consistent results, and recommending future appointments.
• Assist with retail recommendations and studio membership education when appropriate.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, continuing education, and studio events.
• Collaborate with the Studio Manager, Concierge team, and fellow Nail Technicians to support daily operations and studio goals.

Qualifications
• A current Texas license authorizing the performance of professional nail services.
• Strong technical skills in manicures, pedicures, gel polish application, nail shaping, cuticle care, and natural nail maintenance.
• Nail art and soft-gel enhancement experience are strongly preferred.
• A genuine commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and guest safety.
• Excellent customer-service skills with the ability to create a welcoming, comfortable, and professional experience.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing consistent, high-quality work.
• Ability to communicate clearly, receive coaching, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and prepared to contribute to a positive studio culture.
• Willingness to participate in continued education and stay current with nail-care techniques, products, and trends.
• Ability to work on-site in Highland Village, including a flexible schedule with some evenings and weekends based on studio needs.
• Previous experience in a professional nail salon, spa, or guest-service environment is preferred; however, newly licensed technicians with strong skills, professionalism, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
