Licensed Massage Therapist, Independent Contractor

Responsibilities:

- Mandatory evenings and weekends for additional pay

- Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients to determine their specific massage therapy needs

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals

- Provide deep tissue massage and other therapeutic techniques to address pain management and promote relaxation

- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes

- Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment throughout the massage therapy session

- Currently looking for Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, and Sundays

- Must be available to work some evenings and at least 2 weekend days each month

Experience:

- Must be a licensed massage therapist

- Desire at least 2 years experience; experience with cupping, lymphatic, ashiatsu, or reiki is a plus; additional compensation offered for additional modalities and experience

- Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques and acute pain management

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
