Licensed Massage Instructor

Healing Hands is hiring a Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor to teach adult students in both day and evening classes.

Subjects available to be taught
• Anatomy & Physiology
• Kinesiology
• Health and Hygeine
• Pathology
• Massage Theory
• Hands On Massage Practice
• Hydrotherapy
• Others

Minimum Requirements
• Current Texas Massage Therapy Instructor License
• Comfortable teaching adults from a wide range of backgrounds, including students with limited English or disabilities

Preferred Qualifications
• Instructor certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Bachelor’s degree or higher

Duties
• Teach assigned courses following school and state standards
• Keep accurate attendance and grade records
• Monitor student progress and report concerns to administration
• Enforce school rules and maintain classroom order
• Keep classroom clean and compliant with health and safety regulations
• Support students’ professional development
• Stay current with industry standards
• Complete continuing education as required by school policy
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour

License/Certification:
• Massage Instructor License for the State of Texas (Preferred)
• Massage Therapist License for the state of Texas (Required)
