The Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and energetic Licensed Cosmetologist / Licensed Barber to join our vibrant team! Responsibilities
• Provide professional haircuts, styling tailored to each client’s preferences
• Perform grooming services including straight razor shaves, beard trims, and hair threading
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation following all health regulations and store policies
• Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or retail products
• Upsell retail items like hair care products, cosmetics, and accessories to maximize client satisfaction and store revenue
• Mentor new team members on technical skills, customer service standards, and store procedures
• Assist at the front desk by greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling payments with retail math proficiency
Qualifications
• Valid state license as a Cosmetologist or Barber with proof of certification required
• Proficiency in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients while providing outstanding customer service
• Strong retail sales skills with experience in upselling products and retail math calculations
• Familiarity with store management tasks including front desk operations and mentoring team members
