Part-Time Lash + Brow Artist

The Lash Barn is looking for a talented, reliable, and personable Part-Time Lash + Brow Artist to join our growing boutique salon!

This position will start at approximately 12–15 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as your clientele and demand grow. We are focused on finding someone who is truly a great fit for our clients, environment, and brand—and someone who is interested in growing with us long-term.

About The Lash Barn

The Lash Barn is a boutique lash and brow salon specializing in natural but noticeable, fully customized lash extensions. Our goal is to enhance each client's individual features rather than take a one-style-fits-all approach.

We work with both black lashes and an extensive selection of brown shades to create sets customized to each client's eye shape, features, lifestyle, and personal preferences.

Our signature style leans toward soft, wearable, and beautifully customized lash sets rather than extremely dramatic or mega-volume styles. We are looking for an artist whose work and artistic style align with this approach.

Our location and brand attract an established clientele, including many women 35 and older, who value quality, consistency, professionalism, and a personalized beauty experience. The ideal artist will enjoy building genuine, long-term relationships with clients and creating an environment where every guest feels comfortable and well cared for.

Services You'll Provide
• Eyelash extensions
• Korean lash lifts
• Brow waxing
• Brow tinting

Experience in lash extensions is required. Experience in other services is not necessary, as we are open to helping the right artist learn and become comfortable with our specific techniques, products, and approach.

Compensation & Position
• W-2 employee position
• 40% commission on services
• 100% of your tips
• Approximately 12–15 hours per week to start
• Opportunity to increase hours as your clientele and demand grow

Estimated Starting Schedule

This position is expected to start at approximately 12–15 hours per week. A potential starting schedule may include:
• Thursdays: approximately 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
• Fridays: approximately 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday: approximately 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

This is an estimated starting schedule and may be adjusted as needed based on client demand, business needs, and the availability of the right candidate. There is also opportunity to add or adjust days and hours as your clientele grows.

Bracken Village Market Days

From May through November, Bracken Village hosts Market Days on the fourth Saturday of each month, bringing additional foot traffic and visitors to the village. These events are a great opportunity for our artist to meet potential new clients, showcase their services, and offer walk-in brow appointments.

Participation in select Market Days may be incorporated into the artist's schedule and can be a great way to introduce yourself to the community and help grow your clientele.

The Ideal Artist

Our ideal artist genuinely loves the beauty industry and takes pride in both their work and the experience they provide to their clients. We are looking for someone who is warm and personable while also being professional, dependable, trustworthy, and respectful of the salon and its clientele.

• Are dependable, punctual, and take your schedule and client commitments seriously
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
• Present yourself in a clean, polished, and professional manner that reflects the beauty industry and The Lash Barn brand. Scrubs are not required—we simply ask that you arrive put-together and client-ready each day
• Are friendly, professional, and able to make clients feel comfortable and cared for
• Are comfortable working independently in a small boutique salon environment
• Take initiative and are comfortable using downtime productively
• Are open to learning, feedback, and continuing to improve your skills
• Want an opportunity to gradually build a loyal clientele and grow your hours over time

Growing Your Clientele

The Lash Barn is an established business with ongoing demand and new-client inquiries, and we are excited to help connect the right artist with opportunities to grow their clientele. An existing clientele is not required, but is helpful.

However, we believe that building a full, loyal book is a partnership.

We can help bring new clients through the door, but ultimately, clients return because of you. The quality of your work, consistency, reliability, professionalism, and the overall experience you provide are what turn a first-time guest into a long-term client.

Our goal is to give you the opportunity and support to build a successful book, while you take pride in giving each client an experience that makes them excited to come back and see you.

Regularly showcasing your work on social media is also highly encouraged. Sharing your services and results can help you build your portfolio, connect with potential clients, and continue growing your clientele over time. Artists should be comfortable photographing their finished work, with client consent, and using those photos to showcase and grow their portfolio.

Long-Term Growth

We're looking for more than just a short-term hire. Our hope is to find an artist who wants to grow alongside The Lash Barn.

For the right person, this position has the potential to evolve into a larger role within the business over time as clientele, responsibilities, and opportunities grow. We want to find someone who is excited to build something long-term, take pride in being part of The Lash Barn, and grow their role as the business continues to evolve.

Licensing & Requirements
• Must hold an active Texas Esthetician or Cosmetology license to perform the full range of services offered in this position, including lash extensions, lash lifts, and brow services
• Must follow all applicable sanitation, safety, and licensing requirements
• Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing a consistent client experience
• Previous lash experience and a portfolio of your work are strongly preferred
• Experience with brow services and lash lifts is a plus
• Must be comfortable working on a lash recliner rather than a traditional flat lash bed
