Sarah Mason Style is a NEWLY RENOVATED luxury, boutique salon overlooking the corner of King and Washington Streets in the heart of Old Town Alexandria.

As a Stylist, you will be providing a wide range of services to our guests, including;
• Hair Cutting
• Color Treatments
• Blowouts
• And anything else you are passionate about in the hair and cosmetology industry.

You will also have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in customer service to create a positive, relaxing, and welcoming salon experience.

If you are also interested in joining my Wedding Hair and Makeup team that is a super bonus! Eagerness to grow and learn is encouraged as we can attend continuing education together.

Responsibilities include:
• Perform various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling, etc
• Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to guests needs and preferences
• Utilize salon software to organize appointments and guest information
• Marketing yourself and being active on social media to keep guests coming in (I will be doing that for us as well)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the cosmetology industry

Requirements:
• Valid cosmetology license
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including knowledge of color theory
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and understand their desired outcomes and visions
• Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent time management skills
