Responsibilities



Perform professional hair styling, coloring, and cutting services using advanced techniques such as balayage, highlights, and precision cuts.
Apply hair extensions and eyelash extensions to enhance clients’ natural beauty.
Conduct consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments based on color theory and current trends.
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales efficiently.
Upsell retail products such as hair care, styling tools, and nail care items to meet client needs while boosting revenue.
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and providing excellent customer service.
Mentor junior team members in hair threading, makeup application, and store management best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends by participating in ongoing education related to hair styling, barbering techniques like straight razor shaves, and new product launches.

Experience



Proven experience as a hairstylist or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styling skills.
Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for appointment booking and retail management.
Skilled in various hair treatments including coloring (color theory), extensions, straight razor grooming, and nail care.
Familiarity with sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean work environment in compliance with health standards.
Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients and collaborate with team members.
Experience in retail sales techniques including upselling products like eyelash extensions or makeup applications.
Ability to mentor others in cosmetology services such as hair threading or advanced styling techniques is a plus.
