Corte is a design-forward, service-driven salon built on consistency, care, and elevated standards. We’re looking for a Salon Assistant who is comfortable with very thorough hands-on cleaning, excels in supporting stylists during services, and takes pride in creating a seamless guest experience.

This role is ideal for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to be part of a professional salon environment.

What You’ll Do

Salon Cleanliness & Organization (Essential)
• Clean and sanitize stations, chairs, tools, shampoo bowls, and common areas throughout the day
• Manage towels, capes, and laundry systems
• Take out trash and maintain back-of-house organization
• Follow daily opening, mid-shift, and closing cleaning checklists
• Maintain sanitation standards in compliance with DC regulations

Guest Experience & Stylist Support
• Greet clients and assist with check-in and comfort throughout their visit
• Prepare and reset stations before and after each service
• Support stylists during services to keep the day running smoothly

Shampoo & Service Support
• Perform thorough, relaxing shampoos and scalp care treatments
• Assist with toners and color services as trained
• Blow-dry guests when requested or needed to support stylists

Backbar & Product Support
• Refill, label, and organize backbar and retail products
• Keep shampoo and dispensary areas stocked, clean, and presentable

What We’re Looking For
• Comfortable with hands-on cleaning and maintaining high sanitation standards
• Confident shampooing
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow systems
• Team-oriented with a calm, positive attitude

No cosmetology license or student status required.

Salon experience is a plus, but not required — training is provided.
