What you’ll do
• Provide expert hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and hair extensions, tailored to each client’s unique preferences.
• Utilize salon software, including MINDBODY, to manage appointments and enhance the customer experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve beautiful and vibrant hair colors.
• Perform straight razor techniques and hair threading with precision and care.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with industry standards.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members to foster a collaborative atmosphere.
• Engage with clients to provide outstanding customer service, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Promote retail products through effective upselling techniques while maintaining an inviting front desk presence.

Basic qualifications
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
• Strong communication skills to connect with clients and understand their needs.

Preferred qualifications
• Experience with eyelash extensions and makeup application is a plus.
• Familiarity with retail math to assist in managing inventory effectively.
• Previous experience in store management or retail sales within a salon setting.
