Duties
• Provide professional beauty services while delivering exceptional customer service and client care.
• Perform consultations to assess client needs and recommend appropriate services, treatments, and products.
• Perform services within your scope of practice, including hair styling, braiding, coloring, extensions, natural hair care, makeup, lashes, brows, waxing, nails, barbering, or other licensed beauty services.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with Arizona State Board regulations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Educate clients on proper home care and recommend professional products to maintain their results.
• Utilize salon scheduling software to manage appointments, client records, and daily schedules.
• Promote salon services, special events, and retail products through excellent customer engagement.
• Participate in salon marketing initiatives, social media content, and community events.
• Maintain inventory of personal tools and notify management of salon supply needs.
• Arrive on time, maintain a professional appearance, and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Continue developing professional skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.

Qualifications
• Current Arizona Cosmetology, Barber, Nail Technician, or Esthetician License (where applicable).
• Beauty school graduates preparing for licensure are encouraged to apply.
• Strong passion for the beauty industry and commitment to continued learning.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to build and retain a loyal client base.
• Comfortable recommending retail products and salon services.
• Social media knowledge is a plus but not required.
