Job Title: Master Aesthetician

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Licensed Master Esthetician to support esthetic services in our busy medical & cosmetic dermatology office. An ideal candidate is motivated, enthusiastic, hard working and interested in contributing to the development of the expanding practice. Excellent people skills are essential. Cosmetic services include laser hair removal, tattoo removal, laser skin rejuvenation, microneedling, injectables, and advanced aesthetics including medical grade facial and peels.

The ideal candidate would have an understanding of dermatology terminology and experience with charting in electronic medical records (EMA experience is a plus).

This is a full time position with benefits including PTO and medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(K).

Qualifications:

Applicants must be certified and have at least 2 years of experience with medical grade products, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microneedling and lasers. Prior experience at a medical spa, dermatology office, or other medical practice is required.

Education and/or Experience

· Washington state Master Esthetician license

· Training certification in esthetics, microneedling, laser treatments, and radio frequency skin tightening

· Experience in providing aesthetic services, such as facials and peels

· Basic computer proficiency.

· Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMA) software is preferred.

· Knowledge of Alastin, Skinbetter, SkinCeuticals and EltaMD skin care a plus.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Provide medical laser treatments, microneedling treatments, facials, chemical peels and dermaplaning

· Effective, compassionate, professional interactions and communication with patients and other health team members.

· Able to evaluate and counsel patients on their skin care regimen

· Able to work independently while promoting a team environment

· Work closely with providers in assisting for procedures and treatments.

· Accurately assess the condition of a patient’s skin and make informed recommendations about treatments and/or skin care product regimens to enhance the appearance of the skin.

· Provide consultations to patients who are interested in all elective services offered by the practice.

· Contribute to the creation of promotional campaigns that will grow the business and endorse the practice’s brand. Experience with social media, Facebook, blogs, Instagram etc. for online marketing a plus.

· Need to understand scheduling and occasionally answer phones and schedule appointments as needed

· Ability to solve problems that involve taking into consideration a wide range of variable and interpreting a variety of information.

· Sitting for extended periods of time, keyboarding at a computer terminal.

· Work with standard office equipment including computers, copiers, printers, fax machines, telephones.

· Standing and walking for extended periods of time.

· Speaking, close vision, hearing, handling objects or controls, reaching, squatting, bending, and maneuvering.

· May require lifting up to 50 lbs.

· Stress may be triggered by workload and difficult patients.

· Occasional pushing and pulling of patients in wheelchairs and assisting to sit and stand.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
