The Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to create stunning looks for clients while contributing to a positive and welcoming salon environment.
Duties
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services and products.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends in hair styling and beauty techniques.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the salon workspace and tools.
Promote retail products to clients, utilizing knowledge of retail math to assist in sales strategies.
Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
Experience
Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
Previous experience in hair styling is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Experience with salon software systems is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
A background in retail sales is advantageous, helping to enhance the client experience through product recommendations.
