Responsibilities
• Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, extensions, and texturizing treatments with precision and care.
• Perform specialized treatments such as eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to meet diverse client needs.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to proper sterilization procedures for all tools and workspaces.
• Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client information, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging clients in consultations, understanding their preferences, and recommending suitable products or services.
• Support store management through front desk duties such as greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling retail transactions with retail math accuracy.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair care techniques, color theory, barbering skills like straight razor shaves, and overall salon best practices.
• Upsell retail products effectively by educating clients on hair care essentials and beauty solutions aligned with their needs.

Qualifications
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in hair styling, coloring, and advanced techniques such as hair extensions or barbering.
• Strong knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Skilled in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform a variety of beauty services including eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading.
• Knowledge of retail sales strategies including upselling techniques and retail math accuracy.
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations; additional certifications in specialized treatments are a plus.
