Requirements



Must either have completed your education and are awaiting licensure testing, or
Licensed in Colorado: You must hold a valid license to practice hairstyling in the State of Colorado.
Must be willing to work with the hair of men, women, children, and trans clients.
Cutting Versatility: Comfortable cutting all lengths and textures of hair
Color Knowledge: Be able to formulate for gray coverage or blending, place natural and trendy highlights, to know the difference between the level 9 & 10 when lifting with bleach. Knowledge of color correction.
Chemical Curling or Straightening: Comfortable perming long and short hair in either a classic or trendy way. Straightening is not a mandatory skill for the job.
Positive Attitude: Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and professionalism to the team.
Collaborative Spirit: Willingness to learn and work as a key member of the Kantor & Company team.

Compensation



Hourly Rate: $16.00 per hour plus tips (with no prior experience). Experienced applicants are encouraged to share their qualifications for pay consideration.
Retail Sales Incentive: Receptionists who sell $100 or more in retail products during a two-week payroll period will receive 10% of their total retail sales for that period.

Sick time is paid at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours maximum per year.
