Job Summary


We are looking for someone to join our team part time. 29 hours Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday or Saturday. Starting at $16.00 a hour plus tips or 40% commission, whichever is higher. The busier we get the more hours we can give.


We are looking for someone that is proficient in fades, razor fades, beards, fohawks, mullets, and anything else that might come in the door. Also a good listener and does thorough consultation, feels comfortable making suggestions and educating clients on hair growth, problem areas, etc.

Responsibilities



Deliver professional barbering and cosmetology services including haircuts, styling, coloring, and grooming for diverse client needs
Perform advanced treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction
Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline operations
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by following strict sanitation protocols for tools and workstations
Provide expert advice on hair color theory, product recommendations, and retail sales to boost client confidence and store revenue
Assist front desk duties including greeting clients, managing bookings, and handling retail transactions with retail math skills
Mentor junior team members in techniques such as straight razor shaves, makeup application, and customer service excellence

Experience



Proven experience as a barber or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse styling techniques
Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management
Skilled in hair coloring techniques grounded in color theory principles
Hands-on experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading preferred
Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their beauty goals
Ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction
Demonstrated store management capabilities or leadership experience is a plus
