Substitute Hair Stylist/Nail Technician- fill in position at KU Medical Center

**What We're Looking For:**
Salon Healing is actively seeking an experienced Hair Stylist/Nail Technician to work when our current staff is unavailable.  The Hair Stylist would be responsible for providing hair styles and barber services and manicures and pedicures to the patience.  The Hair Stylist is guided by technical knowledge of Hair Stylist services and the policies regarding delivery of services to residents of the facility.

Duties include:

-Maintains equipment and salon in a clean and tidy manner.

-Styles hair consistent with residents request and preferences

-Supplies chemicals to achieve permanents and color in a continuously

component manner.

-Promotes friendly and positive atmosphere in delivery of beauty salon

services.

-Preserves safe environment for residents and staff in the Beauty salon.

-Has knowledge of chemicals and processes used in the service.

-Identifies and responds in a timely and sensitive manner to the needs

of the residents receiving beauty services.

-Maintains beauty salon book for resident being serviced.

-Licensed by the state of Kansas in Cosmetology

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Prior experience as a Hair Stylist and Nails Services

-Prior experience in a Health Care Facility preferred  but not mandatory


**Compensation:**
Commission, Part-time, Hourly
