Hairstylist/Cosmetologist

JOB SUMMARY


This position Reports to Salon owner and is primarily responsible for providing beauty and hair services to clients that could include hair cutting, styling, coloring, balayage, highlights, braiding, extensions, and other cosmetology type services at a high-end salon.


Seeking an experienced and licensed beauty professional to work part-time or full time in the Bellevue area. In addition to the beauty service responsibilities, there are sales expectations for building your own client base and interacting with the other hair stylists in a cooperative work environment.


Requirements


· Must work and operate from the salon location


· High school diploma or GED.


· Must have a current cosmetology license from the State of Washington


Responsibilities and Duties


· Provide cosmetology services


· Provide customer service


· Answer phones and provide some administrative assistance in cooperation with the other hair stylists at the salon


Skills and Qualifications


· Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition


· Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time


· Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm other people during rapidly changing circumstances


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
