Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and fun Kid Centric hairstylist to join our vibrant salon at the Bellevue Crossroads Mall. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for families and their youth, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of current trends. This role involves providing professional hair styling, ear piercing and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and sanitized environment for clients. The stylist will also assist with retail sales and store management tasks to enhance client satisfaction and salon operations.

Responsibilities
• Deliver a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, manicures and ear piercing in accordance with client preferences and salon standards
• Perform specialized services such as hair tinsel, simple braid styles, manicures, ear piercing
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness following health regulations
• Utilize salon software such as Zenoti for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail transactions
• Engage clients with excellent communication skills to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or products
• Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
• Mentor junior staff or apprentices when applicable to foster team development
• Stay updated on current trends in hair styling, sensory solutions, and retail offerings
• Assist with store management tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license required; a
• Proven experience in hair styling, basic haircuts and simple styles
• Familiarity with salon software systems like Zenoti for appointment booking and retail sales management
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment
• Experience in store management or front desk operations is advantageous but not mandatory
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor team members and foster a positive work environment
• Assist and participant in Marketing events as staffing is needed.
• Go through dedicated salon training to perform at salon standards

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $21.85 - $42.85 per hour

Expected hours: 17 – 35 per week
