I had an outstanding experience at Brittany Beauty Academy in Levittown. The professors are incredibly knowledgeable, talented, and patient. They truly care about their students and create a supportive and encouraging environment. They even celebrate every birthday, making the experience feel personal and warm. The instructors went above and beyond to help me prepare for my exams, providing valuable tools and guidance. The tests in house were challenging, but they always equipped us with what we needed to succeed.This made the state exams easy. The hands-on practical sessions were thorough, and they walked us through every step of the aesthetics exam, ensuring we felt confident and prepared. Communication was seamless. Anytime I reached out, they promptly responded. Mr. Gary, the principal and owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, always willing to work with students on scheduling and pricing. Overall, Brittany Beauty Academy provided an exceptional education and a supportive atmosphere, and I highly recommend it to anyone pursuing a career in aesthetics.

I recently attended the day program as a part-time student at Brittany Beauty Academy, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. There are plenty of beauty schools across Long Island, but from the very beginning, Brittany stood out to me. The faculty, staff, and atmosphere create such a welcoming space that you actually look forward to going to and where you can learn from the best and grow both personally and professionally. What sets Brittany apart is how much they truly care about their students. When I first started, I lacked confidence and over time, with the knowledge, skills, and encouragement I received here, I grew not only as a stylist but also as a person. I left feeling confident, capable, and excited for my future. The instructors push you to do your best and step out of your comfort zone. Some of my favorite aspects of the program: Creative Competitions: Brittany hosts fun holiday and seasonal competitions where students get to show off their skills in styling, cutting, coloring, and more. They really bring out your creativity and make learning so much fun. (as someone who used to be nervous over anything having to do with creativity, I became more creative because of this and had so much fun!!) Supportive Environment: I was someone who asked a million questions and often needed help, and the instructors were always patient and encouraging. They didn’t just give me answers, they taught me the right way to do things and made sure I understood, which helped me grow tremendously. Instructors: Many of the instructors are also state board proctors, which means you’re learning directly from professionals who know exactly what’s expected on both the practical and written exams. Their guidance and attention to detail made me feel more than prepared for these exams. Overall, Brittany Beauty Academy gave me so much more than an education in cosmetology. They gave me confidence, skills, and a real passion for this industry. I’m beyond grateful for the experience I had and would recommend this school to anyone looking for education in the field of cosmetology or esthetics.

I’m currently a student at Brittany Beauty Academy, and my experience has been very positive so far. The staff and instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, and I feel like Ive gained a strong foundation in cosmetology. I also appreciate how supportive the administration is, they’re always willing to answer questions and guide you.The school provides hands-on training and has a real salon inside of the school which helps build confidence and prepares us for real-world experience. I also appreciate that the academy emphasizes professionalism and discipline, which I know will help me in my future career.I’ve met some amazing people here and build friendships and connections that will hopefully last a lifetime, I would definitely recommend Brittany Beauty Academy to anyone who’s serious about pursuing a career in beauty.

Graduating from this school over 20 years ago was one of the best decisions I ever made. I had an amazing experience as a student, and now—full circle—I’m a salon owner, educator, and mentor.
