I had a wonderful experience with Miss Ruby today for my FULL foil appointment. The entire team was amazing! They were accommodating, professional and very knowledgeable. I can tell the educators take pride in teaching their students by the way things are run here! Ruby was so sweet! She was mindful of my inspiration pic and ensured she see it through. She asked questions and stayed later than normal for me. Great experience! Highly recommend! Thank you! 😊
I had a wonderful experience with Beatriz M. at the Studio! She cut my hair, earlier this year and I was incredibly happy with it. A few months later, I stopped by so she could dye it and let me tell you, she did not disappoint. I was extremely happy with the results, she was kind and helpful in recommending products to take care of my hair.
We had an amazing experience with Isabella Zepeda today. We had two appointments for both my daughters and this included a relaxing wash, cut, blow dry and style which turned out absolutely stunning. They both were really happy with their haircuts and the end product. We are visiting from the UK and decided we were going to get haircuts here and were recommended Isabella by a family member and we were really impressed with the outcome and the overall experience! If you’re looking for a reliable hairdresser, I would highly recommend try getting booked in with Isabella! 🫶🏼
I truly wanted to love and support this place. I would much rather spend my money somewhere that is helping students learn and prepare for their future careers. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience here. I completely understand that this is a school and services will not be perfect. However, when students are allowed to work on the public—especially those who are only two months away from graduating—I would expect them to have a stronger foundation in basic techniques. I have gone in a couple of times to get my nails done, and each time the results have been disappointing. During my last visit, I actually had to guide the student on where to add more acrylic. In the end, my nails looked uneven and bulky, almost like clubbed nails, and they were not filed or shaped properly. What made this even more concerning is that the supervising instructor, who is supposed to be overseeing the students, did not appear to be actively supervising. Instead, she was busy doing other services. The students seemed to be left on their own without much guidance. The staff is very kind and sweet, and this review is not meant to criticize the students themselves. In fact, I feel bad for them because they deserve proper instruction and hands-on guidance—especially considering the amount of money they are paying for their education. I truly hope the school improves its supervision and training so these students can graduate with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their careers.
I had to at least leave a 1 star rating, to provide a disclosure… Otherwise, if there was an option to leave a - star rating, I would give this place a NEGATIVE 10 review - this place doesn’t even deserve any part of 1 star rating… I’m here for a family medical situation, figured, I would “support locally & support those learning and trying to make their way… I originally booked a partial foil. The instructor was high on my “virgin hair,” & she talked me into a full highlight… (2 students assigned to my head of hair)… #1. My mum warned me trusting my hair to beauty school students… My reply to her, if my 14 year old niece, who learned from her mother was competent enough to do highlights, I would hope ppl in beauty school would be up for the task… #2. Nope, they weren’t up for the task & I should’ve walked out several times (I certainly thought about it, but thought ‘give them a chance, your 14 year old niece did a great job) #3. They weren’t up for the task. They fried my hair. Burned my scalp. & for double the price they advertised online. #4. I paid $130 dollars to have my hair & scalp fried. #5. I paid another $100 for product to HOPEFULLY SAVE MY HAIR Moral to the story… NEVER AGAIN! It would’ve been FAR cheaper going to a professional & I wouldn’t be living through the traumatic experience/situation that I am now
