The Elite Stylist is responsible for engaging with guests, consulting with them on their hair care needs and recommending products and services. The Role
We’re looking for a talented Barber or Stylist who takes pride in their craft and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. You’ll spend your time doing what you do best — delivering great haircuts, connecting with clients, and helping create a positive shop atmosphere.

What You’ll Do
Behind the Chair
Deliver high-quality men’s haircuts, fades, beard trims, and shaves
Provide strong consultations and excellent client service
Maintain a clean, organized, professional workstation
Build relationships that drive repeat business and referrals
Stay on schedule and respect client time
Team Contribution
Show up on time and ready to work
Support a positive, respectful team environment
Follow Diesel service standards and shop procedures
Help keep the shop clean and running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
Licensed Barber or Cosmetologist (Texas)
Strong technical skills with men’s cuts, fades, and detailing
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Flexible availability, including nights and weekends

What This Role Is Not
Not booth rental
Not a management position (but there is room for growth if you're interested!)
No scheduling, hiring, or admin responsibilities — your focus is on cutting and client experience

Licensed Cosmetologist – Part Time
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Part -Time Licensed Cosmetologist. In this role, you will administer professional hair styling, cutting and chemical services, restorative treatments, as well as apply cosmetics and skin treatments with an emphasis on cleanliness, sanitation, and excellent customer service beyond expectations to the guests.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll offer professional hair, makeup, and beauty services that help our guests look and feel their best. You'll provide a personalized approach to create a welcoming and uplifting spa atmosphere.
This is a commissioned position.
Key Responsibilities
Provide consistent professional styling of hair, to include but not limited to: color, bleach, frost or condition hair, adding hairpieces and weaves, relaxers, texturizers, perms, and restorative treatments.
Provide consistent professional cosmetics that are appropriate for the client's coloring and skin tone, shape, trim, pluck and color eyebrows, or assist in the removal of unwanted facial hair.
Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
Answer telephones and book appointments as needed.
What We're Looking For
One year of specialized experience working in a spa or salon is a must, or directly related experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training in spa, salon, stylist services is needed.
Must be available to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must hold and maintain a current State Cosmetologist License.
