Duties Perform professional manicure and pedicure services using various techniques, including gel, acrylics, and natural nail care. Apply advanced nail art designs, including intricate detailing and color blending to meet client preferences. Educate clients on nail health, proper care routines, and recommended treatments to promote healthy nails. Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for all clients. Assist clients with selecting nail products or retail items such as cuticle oils or nail polishes to enhance their experience. Offer additional beauty services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or hair extensions when qualified. Upsell services and retail products confidently to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue. Requirements Valid cosmetology license with certification in nail technology or related fields. Proven experience in nail care techniques such as gel application, acrylics, or natural manicures. Knowledge of color theory to create visually appealing designs tailored to client preferences. Strong communication skills to engage with clients effectively and understand their beauty goals. Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety protocols at all times. Ability to perform multiple beauty treatments including hair threading, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, or barbering if qualified. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters client loyalty. Basic retail math skills for product recommendations and upselling opportunities.
