The Hair Lounge is a commission based, Aveda salon in Golden, CO (located up the street from the Colorado Mills Mall). We are a 4 chair salon inside a bustling shopping center called The Shops with ample walk-in opportunity. Deliver a wide range of beauty services, including hair styling, coloring, extensions, and men's grooming to meet each client’s unique preferences.Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations after each service to ensure client safety.Educate clients on hair care routines, product usage, and styling tips while upselling retail products to enhance their at-home beauty regimen.Manage retail sales efficiently using retail math skills to maximize revenue while providing exceptional customer service. QualificationsValid cosmetology license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority.Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and cutting techniques, including barbering and hair extensions.Knowledge of color theory principles for creating customized color solutions.Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional recommendations.Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols in all treatments performed.Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes clients feel valued and comfortable.
