The Role
As a W2 stylist at Raven & Rose, you'll serve Raven & Rose clients and build your own book within the salon. You'll work alongside a small, professional team in a collaborative environment where quality of work and client experience are the primary metrics of success.

Delivering exceptional hair color, cutting, and treatment services consistent with Raven & Rose's quality standards
Building and retaining your client relationships

Compensation

Current California cosmetology license
2+ years’ experience as a stylist post-cosmetology school (apprenticeship experience may be accepted if applicant exhibits proficiency and professionalism congruent with a junior stylist)

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / Hour with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn services pay pursuant to the Company’s Services Compensation Plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also earn overtime pay as required by applicable law and tips paid by service guests. Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements
Manage appointment schedules efficiently
Upsell retail products and additional services through engaging product demos and personalized recommendations
Stay current on industry trends, new techniques, and product innovations in nail care and esthetic treatments
Provide excellent guest services by creating a friendly atmosphere, addressing client needs promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Experience
Proven experience as a Nail Technician with a strong portfolio of manicures, pedicures, and advanced nail techniques such as gel application or acrylics
Knowledge of salon management software including Millennium or MINDBODY is preferred
Familiarity with sanitation standards, sterilization procedures, and health regulations in the beauty industry
Experience with additional skills such as eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, body waxing, or tattooing is a plus
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members in a fast-paced environment
Previous work in a med spa or luxury salon setting is advantageous but not required
Certification in cosmetology or related fields is mandatory; ongoing education in new treatments like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments is encouraged
