Overview
We are a luxury beauty salon specializing in premium hair extensions, lash lifts, and advanced beauty services. We are currently launching and expanding our hair extension department and are seeking a motivated, sales driven Licensed Cosmetologist who is excited about helping build this division into a thriving, high revenue part of our business.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants more than just a job. The ideal candidate will take pride in helping us establish and grow a vibrant hair extension department while delivering exceptional results and creating loyal, long term clients.
We exclusively offer premium Slavic hair extensions and specialize in the Feather Veil Hair Extension Method. If you are not familiar with this technique, training will be provided by our Master Stylist. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, coachable, and committed to mastering our proprietary services and luxury client experience.
Unlike a traditional hair salon, our primary focus is hair extension consultations, installation, maintenance, customization, and luxury hair treatments. We do not offer traditional haircutting or color services on natural hair. Our services are centered around extension transformations, extension customization, keratin treatments, hair botox treatments, and lash lifts.
The ideal candidate is ambitious, enjoys selling products and services, loves creating social media content, and is excited to contribute to the growth of a luxury beauty brand. Duties
Perform professional Feather Veil hair extension consultations, installations, maintenance appointments, removals, and reapplications while delivering exceptional client results.
Customize, color, cut, blend, and style premium Slavic hair extensions to seamlessly match each client's desired color, texture, length, and overall look.
Consult with clients to understand their goals and recommend appropriate services, maintenance schedules, hair care products, and treatment plans.
Maintain the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and professionalism in accordance with California state regulations and salon policies.
Utilize salon software systems to manage appointments, client records, treatment notes, and retail sales transactions efficiently.
Educate clients on proper extension care, home maintenance, product usage, and long term hair health to maximize the longevity of their investment.
Recommend and sell professional hair care products, extension maintenance products, and related retail items to enhance client results and contribute to department growth.
Collaborate with the social media team to create engaging photo and video content showcasing transformations, extension services, client results, and educational beauty content.
Assist with lash lift services and related beauty treatments when not performing hair extension appointments.
Contribute to the growth and success of our expanding hair extension department by delivering exceptional customer service, generating repeat business, building client relationships, and helping drive sales.
Requirements
Valid California cosmetology license
Specialization in hair extensions
Proven experience in hair extension installation, hair styling, coloring, and sales
Knowledge of color theory, sanitation practices, and the latest trends in hair fashion.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with diverse clients and team members.
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
