Stretch Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Stretch Therapist to join our wellness team! In this role, you will deliver specialized stretching services designed to enhance flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and promote overall physical well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and fitness goals through personalized stretching techniques, trigger point therapy, and targeted massage modalities. Details
• Work as an independent contractor, establishing your own hours. In addition have the opportunity to grow your personal practice in a professional setting.
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify individual needs, limitations, and goals.
• Develop customized stretching routines incorporating techniques such as Ssports massage, and trigger point therapy.
• Educate clients on proper stretching practices, injury prevention, and pain management strategies.
• Maintain detailed treatment records, including client progress notes and treatment plans.
• Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and foster a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in massage therapy and stretching techniques, as well as trigger point therapy or neuromuscular massage experience.
• Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy and pain management.
• Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as med spa experience or occupational health are a plus.
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate clearly.
• Familiarity with sports massage modalities preferred.
• Ability to work in a boutique style studio, taking ownership of the services you provide.
• Prior experience in medical or wellness settings that emphasize client communication and pain management is highly desirable.

Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
