Shop Manager – Blue Star Barbershop at Bethel Road (June/July Opening!)

Blue Star Barbershop has been a Columbus institution for over 15 years. Bethel Road is our next chapter and we're hiring the person who will build it.

This isn't a take-over role. It's a build role. You'll be there from day one, shaping the team, the culture and the client experience from the ground up.

The Opportunity

Bethel is a brand new build. Great space, a strong brand behind you and the chance to put your fingerprints on something that lasts.

You'll come in behind the chair while the shop finds its footing and build your book alongside your team. The role grows with the shop. Paid training throughout with a clear ramp timeline from day one.

What You'll Own
• Hiring, onboarding, and developing your team
• Scheduling and daily floor management
• Coaching to Blue Star service and quality standards
• HR and personnel situations handled with professionalism
• Financial and operational reporting
• Set and maintain the client experience standard across your team

Compensation
• Competitive commission rate with $16/hourly base guarantee - you earn whichever is greater each pay period
• 100% of your tips, always
• Product sales commission
• Paid vacation time after one year

What We're Looking For
• Valid Ohio Barber or Cosmetology License *REQUIRED*
• Experience behind the chair (established clientele preferred)
• Prior leadership or management experience a plus
• Someone who leads by example and builds people up
• Open availability including some nights and weekends required

Pay: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour
