Salon Assistant / Hair stylist with Following
Voance Hair Salon – Upper East Side, Manhattan
Voance Hair Salon is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and professional Salon Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for a cosmetology student, newly licensed stylist, or someone passionate about building a long-term career in the beauty industry.
You will work closely with experienced stylists in a fast-paced, high-end salon environment while receiving hands-on training and mentorship.
Responsibilities: Shampoo and prepare clients for services Assist stylists with color preparation and applications Blow-dry assistance and finishing support Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the salon Sanitize tools, stations, and equipment Laundry, stocking, and inventory assistance Greet clients and provide excellent customer service Assist with salon operations as needed
Qualifications: Positive attitude and strong work ethic Reliable and punctual Professional appearance and communication skills Ability to multitask in a busy salon environment Team-oriented mindset Cosmetology student or New York cosmetology license preferred Weekend availability is a plus
