PT Stylist / Salon Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Stylist / Salon Assistant to join our vibrant salon team. Ideal candidate is professional, punctual and passionate about the beauty industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individual to have hands on mentorship and guidance from a stylist of over 30 years behind the chair and Salon ownership. The assistant will gain real world education and opportunity to build their own clientele if wanted. This is a great opportunity for a new stylist looking to grow in a supportive environment.


Responsibilities



Assist stylist with shampooing, blow drying, hair styling, coloring, and finishing techniques.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and light cleaning to ensure a safe and clean environment.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive salon experience.
Experience
Previous experience in a salon or barbering environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific services
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients are essential with a positive attitude.
Certifications or training in cosmetology or barbering are highly desirable; however, motivated individuals eager to learn are encouraged to apply.

Pay will be based on experience, hours are M-F 8:30-5:30 will vary according to booking schedule.
