Role Description The PMU Artist/Paramedical Tattoo Artist is a full-time, on-site role based in Parker, CO. This role involves performing permanent makeup procedures (such as brows, eyeliner, and lips) and paramedical tattoo services (such as scar camouflage and nipple-areola restoration) in accordance with studio protocols and health regulations. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients, assessing individual needs, designing customized treatment plans, and executing precise, safe tattoo applications. The artist will document procedures, maintain treatment rooms and equipment, and strictly follow sanitation and sterilization standards. Additional responsibilities include educating clients on aftercare, supporting occasional tattoo removal or corrective work, scheduling and follow-up, and collaborating with the team to ensure a consistent, supportive client experience.
Qualifications
• Artistic skills including Tattoo and Art, with the ability to design and execute detailed cosmetic and paramedical work.
• Experience or training in Tattoo Removal and corrective procedures to address prior work or medical needs.
• Proficiency or familiarity with Piercing techniques and related safety standards, where applicable to studio services.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including compassionate communication, active listening, and client education.
• Formal training or certification in PMU, cosmetic tattooing, or paramedical tattooing, including bloodborne pathogen and infection control training.
• Meticulous attention to hygiene, sanitation, and regulatory compliance, with knowledge of local and state health regulations.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Parker, CO, manage a consistent schedule, and maintain detailed client records.
• Comfort working with diverse clients, including those with medical or trauma histories, and maintaining a non-judgmental, inclusive environment.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, color theory understanding, and familiarity with different skin types and healing processes.
• Prior studio, salon, medical spa, or clinical experience is beneficial, as is a portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
