Part Time Licensed Massage Therapist

Position Summary:

Rainier Valley Chiropractic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Massage Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing therapeutic massage services to clients to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, support healing and wellness goals. Our ideal candidate is customer-focused, knowledgeable about massage techniques, and passionate about contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct consultations with clients to assess their individual needs and tailor massage treatments accordingly.
• Administer various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage) to improve client comfort and alleviate musculoskeletal issues.
• Work collaboratively with chiropractic providers to support the patient’s treatment plan and address any specific areas of concern.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of client sessions, including any relevant observations and recommended treatment adjustments.

Qualifications:
• Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) with a current state license in massage therapy.
• Malpractice insurance
• Proficiency in various massage techniques, with the ability to modify them based on client needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered approach.
• Ability to work part-time, with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client appointments.

Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with chiropractic care and its benefits in holistic patient treatment.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide targeted, effective massage therapy.
