Duties
• Perform a variety of nail care treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
• Apply advanced techniques such as gel polish curing, nail extensions, and intricate designs based on client preferences
• Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Provide personalized customer service by understanding client needs, offering expert advice on nail care and color choices
• Upsell retail products like nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Assist with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or skin treatments when required
• Keep detailed records of treatments performed and communicate effectively with clients about aftercare instructions

Experience
• Proven experience as a professional nail technician or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work
• Knowledge of color theory to create harmonious and eye-catching nail designs
• Familiarity with sanitation standards specific to nail salons and beauty clinics
• Skills in retail sales techniques including upselling and retail math to maximize client engagement and revenue
• Experience with advanced beauty treatments such as esthetic laser therapy, dermabrasion, or hair extensions is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members
• Certification in cosmetology or nail technology from an accredited institution is required; additional certifications in specialized services are advantageous
