Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of nail services including gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions, and detailed nail art using color theory principles to achieve desired designs.
• Conduct pedicures and other foot care treatments with precision, ensuring client comfort and safety.
• Follow strict salon safety protocols and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean, hygienic environment for clients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable services, and provide expert advice on nail care and maintenance.
• Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, or tools to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
• Maintain detailed records of services provided, client preferences, and treatment plans for future reference.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like disinfection procedures, and industry standards to deliver top-tier service.

Requirements
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nails; cosmetology or esthetician certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of color theory, nail extensions (including acrylics), gel manicures, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform complex nail applications such as acrylic nails, gel overlays, and intricate nail art designs.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs effectively.
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, disinfection procedures, and client confidentiality standards.
• Experience with additional beauty treatments such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, or hair styling is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated ability in retail sales techniques including upselling products that complement nail services.
• A passion for ongoing learning about new techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments enhances your versatility as a technician.
