The Role
Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty team! In this dynamic role, you will deliver exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and advanced nail art, creating a pampering experience that leaves clients feeling confident and refreshed. Your expertise in color theory, sanitation, and nail care will ensure every client receives personalized attention in a clean, welcoming environment. As a Nail Technician, you will also have opportunities to upsell retail products and promote additional beauty services, contributing to the overall success of our salon.
Responsibilities
• Provide professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art designs tailored to each client’s preferences.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Stay current with the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and industry techniques to offer innovative services.
• Educate clients on proper nail care routines and recommend retail products to enhance their beauty regimen.
• Assist with retail sales by upselling products like nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to maximize client satisfaction and revenue.
• Collaborate with team members on salon operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and excellent customer service at all times.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to disinfection procedures and cosmetology standards.
Experience
• Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a focus on nail care.
• Strong knowledge of color theory, nail art techniques, and current industry trends.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices, disinfection procedures, and maintaining a sterile workspace.
• Experience with advanced treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a professional attitude.
• Certification in cosmetology or related fields is required; additional training in hair extensions or barbering is advantageous.
