Nail Technician / Pedicure specialist

Duties
• Perform professional manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and other nail enhancements with precision and artistry
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail care treatments and color choices based on clients’ preferences and skin tones
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and disinfecting workstations after each service
• Educate clients on proper nail care routines, maintenance tips, and retail products to enhance their at-home regimen
• Upsell additional services such as hand or foot massages, paraffin treatments, or nail art to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Stay current with the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and innovative techniques to deliver cutting-edge services
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service skills and effective communication

Requirements
• Valid cosmetology license or certification in nail technology as required by local regulations
• Proven experience in performing a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel applications, and acrylics
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Strong understanding of color theory to assist clients in selecting flattering shades and designs
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to upsell retail products such as nail care items or skincare products effectively
• Familiarity with advanced treatments like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments is a plus but not mandatory
• Additional skills in hair extensions, body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair styling, or hair threading are advantageous for cross-service opportunities
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning about new trends in beauty and nail care techniques
