Nail Technician – Dream Spa
Job Summary
Dream Spa is seeking talented, detail-oriented Nail Technician to join our inviting and professional beauty team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nail care services that leave clients feeling refreshed, confident, and pampered. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your artistic skills, learn new techniques, and grow within a supportive, client-focused environment dedicated to excellence in beauty and wellness.
Responsibilities
• Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel polish application, acrylic or builder gel (if applicable), and nail art.
• Deliver precise and hygienic cuticle care, nail shaping, and overall nail maintenance.
• Educate clients on proper nail care, product recommendations, and at-home maintenance tips.
• Upsell retail products by understanding client needs and effectively demonstrating the benefits of each item.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area in compliance with state health and safety regulations.
• Properly disinfect and sterilize all tools and equipment after each service.
• Provide excellent customer service through friendly communication, active listening, and personalized recommendations.
• Assist with retail sales by confidently promoting products while ensuring a positive client experience.
Qualifications
• Valid Nail Technician or Cosmetology License as required by state law.
• Proven experience in nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel application, and (optional) nail art or enhancements.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to work well with diverse clients.
• Ability to effectively upsell retail products while prioritizing client needs and satisfaction.
• Strict commitment to sanitation and hygiene standards; must maintain a clean and safe workstation.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and manual dexterity for detailed nail work.
