Responsibilities



Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance
Consult with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable nail treatments, and discuss aftercare instructions
Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative services that delight clients
Upsell additional services such as hand or foot massages, paraffin treatments, or retail nail care products to enhance client experience and increase sales
Manage appointment schedules efficiently while providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits
Assist with retail sales of nail care products and other beauty items to support business growth

Experience



Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work
Knowledge of color theory for creating harmonious and eye-catching nail designs
Familiarity with sanitation protocols, sterilization procedures, and safety standards in a salon environment
Basic understanding of cosmetology principles related to nail care, skin health, and overall aesthetics
Experience with advanced techniques such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair threading, barbering or retail math is a plus
Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively and provide personalized recommendations
Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
