Nail Technician

Overview

If you have a love for seniors and would like to own your own business we welcome you to apply to be our next Nail Technician!


In our building we have 2 salons that serve Independent, Assisted and Memory Care residents all of whom you will have the opportunity to serve.


As an independent contractor you will:



Set your own schedule
Set your rates within reason for a senior population
Provide materials necessary to perform the job
Clean-up after yourself
Pay $200 a month rent

Duties



Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
Consult with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable services, and educate on nail care best practices

Experience



Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role in a professional salon or spa setting
Strong understanding of cosmetology principles including nail care techniques and sanitation standards
Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals
Ability to perform retail math effectively to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Familiarity with senior population nail care preferred.
Certification in cosmetology or related fields required; additional training in eyelash extensions or body waxing is advantageous
