Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Medical Aesthetician based in Newton Centre, MA. The Medical Aesthetician will perform aesthetic treatments such as laser hair removal, microneedling, and other skin care procedures under appropriate clinical protocols. Daily responsibilities include conducting client consultations, assessing skin concerns, explaining treatment plans, and documenting services accurately. The role involves maintaining treatment rooms and equipment, adhering to safety and infection control standards, and coordinating with medical providers as needed. The Medical Aesthetician will also support exceptional client service by answering questions, scheduling follow-up visits, and promoting recommended products and services.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in laser hair removal and other hair removal techniques, with a strong focus on safety and client comfort.
• Hands-on experience with microneedling and related skin rejuvenation procedures, following clinical guidelines and best practices.
• Foundational understanding of medicine or medical aesthetics principles, including skin anatomy, contraindications, and treatment planning.
• Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and ability to build trust with a diverse client base.
• Valid aesthetician or cosmetology license for Massachusetts; prior experience in a medical spa or dermatology setting preferred.
• Commitment to infection control, HIPAA compliance, and accurate documentation in electronic or paper records.
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical and administrative staff, manage time effectively, and adapt to evolving practice protocols.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification related to new devices, products, and treatment techniques.
