Role Description The Massage Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Clovis, CA. This role involves providing therapeutic massage services to patients in coordination with physical therapists and other clinical staff, following established treatment plans and practice standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting intake discussions, assessing patient needs, performing a variety of massage techniques, and documenting services provided in accordance with clinic policies. The Massage Therapist will help patients manage stress, alleviate muscular tension, and support rehabilitation goals, while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment. The role also includes collaborating with the care team, educating patients on self-care strategies, and delivering a welcoming, respectful experience for every patient.
Qualifications
• Therapeutic Massage, Body Massage, and Shiatsu skills to address patient needs and support treatment goals.
• Customer Service skills to provide a professional, considerate, and patient-focused experience.
• Stress Management capabilities to help patients relax and support overall wellness during sessions.
• Current massage therapy license or certification in California, in good standing.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage within a clinical setting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to document treatments clearly and accurately.
• Physical ability to perform massage work safely over multiple sessions per day.
• Experience in a medical, rehabilitation, or wellness clinic environment is preferred.
