Responsibilities
• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session.
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information in compliance with privacy standards.
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and occupational health.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment in excellent condition.
• Promote client retention through excellent customer service, building trusting relationships, and encouraging ongoing wellness routines.

Skills
• Proven experience in various massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
• Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Excellent patient communication skills to explain procedures clearly and respond empathetically to client concerns.
• Ability to identify pain points and develop effective pain management strategies through targeted massage techniques.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and healthcare settings.
• CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all sessions.
• Prior experience in med spa environments or sports clinics is a plus; a passion for promoting wellness is essential.
