As a Massage Therapist at CordeValle is responsible for delivering a range of massage, hydrotherapy, and body services in alignment with CordeValle's high standards of excellence. In this role, professionalism and excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to maintain cleanliness, manage inventory, and contribute positively to the spa team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about wellness and committed to creating a serene experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide all massage and body treatments according to established protocols.
• Greet guests, escort them to treatment rooms, and ensure their comfort throughout their experience.
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all departmental policies and service standards.
• Keep treatment rooms and work areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Communicate with the front desk throughout the day regarding schedule changes and updates.
• Arrive punctually and ensure availability for scheduled shifts, breaks, and meal periods.
• Support and collaborate with other spa departments as needed.
• Assist guests with treatment selection based on their wellness goals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques.
• Uphold CordeValle's core values: Committed, Authentic, Ambassador, Resourceful, and Excellent.
• Participate in spa sustainability initiatives, spa product/treatment trainings, and attend employee meetings and required training sessions.

Premium pay of $48.96 per hour plus gratuity.

Requirements
• * Experience: Minimum 1 year in a professional environment, preferably in hospitality.
• Education: Completion of 200 hours of massage therapy training and 100 hours of supervised experience from a state-certified school; ongoing education preferred.
• Skills:
• * Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues with sound judgment.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy contraindications and benefits.
• Proficiency in English, with additional languages preferred.
• Physical Requirements:
• * Ability to perform physical tasks including transporting 50 lbs and providing up to 6 hours of services per day.
• Capacity to assist guests onto & off service tables (30-36" high) and perform repetitive movements throughout the work period.
• License/Certification: California State Massage Therapy license from the California Massage Therapy Council.
